#travel post Cascais, Mediterranean charm

vila bicuda

Arriving in Portugal, we made our way into gorgeous Cascais, a seaside town, outside Lisbon, full of charm, beauty and historical heritage.
We checked into Vila Bicuda hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Surrounded by the countryside, this little resort has many picturesque townhouses, with landscaped gardens and swimming pools. Lots of room for the little ones to run around, safely. Carys loved exploring our garden and beyond.

Cascais is also surrounded by many areas worth visiting. Guincho and its wild, windy beach, Cabo da Roca, historical fairytale town, Sintra and of course Lisbon, a short train ride away.

Cascais itself has many cobbled, picturesque streets, lots of restaurants and a beach, at the centre of town.

The hotel, also, had all the amenities to help you relax. Daily cleaning, a fully functional kitchen and a garden, where you can enjoy, a few tapas, al fresco.

Portugal weather, is also perfect. Warm temperatures daytime and evening cool enough for a walk. Missing it already.
